But I must say how nice it is to be finally back at work.

As much as I enjoyed being at home with my three children, there is only so much home schooling,

baking, dog walking, tv watching and tik toking one can do!

So with spring in the air and a spring in my step I find myself back at my desk at Bigday Designs,

catching up on the gossip and making the coffee.

The office has been revamped in my absence and a few changes have had to be made but the

phones are ringing, the brain is engaging and the design inspiration is flowing once more.

There is light at the end of the tunnel and with the government guidelines being lifted, albeit slowly,

postponed Brides and Grooms can finally tie the knot and long overdue parties can be rearranged.

I’m picking up from where I left off, new dates have been arranged, some functions may be smaller

this year as clients are still being a little cautious and who can blame them but 2022 is going to be a

big one!! We will all be out socialising, hugging and partying at Weddings, Functions and Events,

there will be no stopping us and that’s how it will be for Bigday Designs.

The team maybe smaller for now but that won’t stop us creating and designing the most wonderful

stationery for our wonderful clients.

It may be quiet at the moment but we can see the function wheel beginning to turn with clients

“Saving Dates” and planning for their “Big Day”.

With a little time on my hands while the world slowly wakes up and returns to normal it’s time to get

the creative juices flowing again, whether that’s creating new design concepts or tweaking old

favourites putting ourselves back out there on social media and adapting to new ways of working

virtually.

So here’s to Save the Dates, Invitations, RSVP’s, Thank You Notes and On The Day Stationery,

following themes, going a bit “out there” or playing it classic and simple.

Let’s switch the printers back on, crank up the production machines, warm up the foil, take the

covers off the paper racks and get back to what I like doing best making “Bigday” stationery for you!
